The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center Needs Your Help

Save Biscayne Nature Center

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center in Crandon Park stands as a cornerstone of our community, a symbol of education, inspiration, and the natural beauty of Biscayne Bay.

Unfortunately, this cherished center is facing unprecedented challenges from the County because of the County’s budget deficit. While the Biscayne Nature Center building was funded entirely with private donations to honor Marjory, the County wants to evict the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Nature Center and rent out the building to generate more revenue.

History Matters. Legacy Matters.

Established in 1985, overlooking the dunes and ocean, the Biscayne Nature Center is a beautiful facility on the north end of Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. Our multi-purpose facility is the entry point to the 165-acre Bear Cut Preserve, Mother Nature’s spectacular classroom which we proudly care for and share with our visitors.
